TANlock is a mechatronic locking system for IT enclosures and server cabinets ideal for data centres and other security sensitive applications
The TANlock system offers centralised and tamper proof latching locking which can be installed and operated independently of the IT system. This means that it can be fitted to any manufacturers’ server cabinets with no additional software requirement which makes retrofitting very simple and ensures it is easily integrated into existing IT infrastructures.
Control, monitor and administer an unlimited number of enclosures from just one computer. After approving an opening event from your computer, an additional code (TAN = Trans-action Authentification Number) on the lock is necessary to open it. After both events verify as matching, the handle will swivel out and the door can be opened. The TANlock software is capable of handling all settings and monitoring down to the individual handle. Each handle has its own configurable address, its current status and all warning messages can be viewed easily on the software.
